It is raining! It is pouring! And I totally love the rains….but it also means that most of our afternoons and evenings are spent indoorsy 🙁  Don’t forget i have a 19 month old who needs to be kept engaged in some “fun” activities. So i created these super FUN, super simple rainy-season themed activities to play indoors.

#1. Math activity: Place the frogs in the pond (1-2-3): (I have color printed and laminated the sheets. The frogs are laminated as well). 

 #2. Sorting activity: Sorting small frogs from large ones! (I have color printed and laminated the sheets. The frogs are laminated as well).

#3. Color matching activities – matching colors of umbrellas! Great for visual discrimination. The umbrella sticks are different colored Popsicle sticks!

#4. Matching the seasonal fruits & rainy accessories. I have color printed and laminated the sheets.

#5. Learning about the rainbow! A fun color + shape matching activity.

#6. Creating clouds with cotton balls. I outlined the clouds on a blue card paper.
